Luchamos en Guacamelee! Gold Edition Ep. 1

This week, Corran and Mooky play through Guacamelee! Gold Edition from DrinkBox Studios. It’s an action platformer that features local co-op mode, custom skins, and multi-faceted maps that you need special luchador moves to access. The more you play, the more abilities you unlock…and the more fun the game becomes! Seriously, running around as a chicken has never been more laugh-inducing. While the name Guacamelee! sort of makes me imagine this: …there are no avocados or chips to be found in the game (so far!). We start in a beautiful Mexican pueblo as Juan, a wannabe luchador. Juan ends...

Review and Gameplay of Overcooked: Festive Seasoning

Overcooked recently came out with free DLC aptly named “Festive Seasoning” for this holiday season. Since Corran and I have been on an unannounced hiatus from streaming games and game blogging, we decided to get back in it for the gameplay. I expected something in particular… but the first few levels were just vegetables. While I love vegetables, I feel like the developers missed out on making this DLC more fun and more festive. Corran and I definitely had some “fun” moments with the torches and turkeys and some kitchen fires, but replay value seemed low. Watch the gameplay...

Lost Castle Review and Gameplay Videos

Corran and I recently acquired Lost Castle, one of the games on my 2016 co-op games wishlist. Aside from that, the game’s online or local co-op mode allows 2 players to explore dungeons crawling with goblins, skeletons, bats, and more oogly-booglies. The nice thing about co-op is if one player dies, the survivor can revive the dead one....

Co-op Games 2016 Wishlist

We’re just a few months from the end of 2016, but that still doesn’t mean we can’t yearn for some great 2016 co-op games. Here’s a list of what I am looking forward to playing: Overcooked Overcooked is a couch co-op (1-4 players) where you have to cook and serve food. It sounds simple enough, but the chaotic nature of your environment and your cooking areas makes it into a fun challenge. I feel like once I can master this game, I should be able to do this irl: but I know it would be more like this… via...
